The Chairman of the Association of Farmers Volyn Ruslan Khomich shared his thoughts on what is now happening to the land market, reports Volinki Novini (Lusk). When the discussion of the draft law on the sale of agricultural land in Ukraine began, the Volynian farmers appealed to the Consulate of Poland, then sent an appeal to Kiev. According to him, in the territory of Ukraine the Association has exhausted its opportunities, appeals to deputies of the Verkhovna Rada have not brought results. Farmers strongly oppose the possibility of legal entities to buy Ukrainian land, they stand on the position that the owner of land for agricultural purposes should be only an individual citizen of Ukraine who lives on this land, processes it and protects it. If the land bill is passed as it is now, the country will cease to exist, Khomić warned.
