Ritual forest fire erupted in south-west China

A forest fire broke out in Yunnan Province in south-west China, the government of Yulong County of Liqyang Province reported on March 29. The authorities have introduced an emergency fire response regime. 79 professional firefighters and over 300 local residents were sent to the fire site to cope with the fire as quickly as possible. The authorities reported that the cause of the fire was a local resident who accidentally arranged a fall, making ritual sacrifices to ancestors on the Day of Remembrance of the Dead. Further investigation continues. On this day, the Chinese burn special items (fake money or other items) that are believed to be useful to the dead in that light.
