Mayor of Kharkov Gennady Kernes believes that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Schmygal and the government in general have made a number of incorrect quarantine decisions, in particular, regarding infrastructure. He said this on the evening of May 6 on the TV channel Naya. "He (Schmygal) does not understand people, does not understand what metro is, does not understand what railway, train or anything. He thinks these are coronavirus seedlings. He better think where to take more tests, Kernes said. The Mayor of Kharkov said that he personally would like to see movement restored in the metro from May 12 in the city, but the regional authorities will not take this step without the corresponding decision of Kiev. Kernes suggested that Schmygal had no understanding of the situation, because he was never an entrepreneur, he was constantly only a director. On May 6, the Mayor of Kharkov also gave a comment to the publication Country, in which he stated that he could not reach Prime Minister Denis Schmygal for a week the head of government did not pick up the phone.
