Telegram created a channel with a poll on the presidential election in Belarus

On August 15, the developers of the telegram messenger created the Telegram Belarus channel, on which residents of the republic are invited to vote for a candidate for president of Belarus. As for voting for one of the candidates for the post of president of the republic, at the time of publication of the news, 52% votes (627,710 users voted) were won by Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, 2% (27,752) votes by Alexander Lukashenko. Andrei Dmitriev, Anna Kanopatskaya and Sergey Cherechen won 0% of the vote. 3% of virtual voters voted against all candidates. It is noteworthy that 36% (429,330) voters indicated that they were not from Belarus, and another 7% said that although they were from Belarus, they did not vote. In total, about 1.2 million users have voted at the moment. According to the developers of the channel, only users from Belarus can cast a vote for one of the candidates. Recall, on August 9, presidential elections were held in Belarus, in which Alexander Lukashenko again won. In the republic, in connection with the results of the vote, protests have been held since August 9. On the eve of August 15, dozens of people protested at the Belteleradiocompany building in Minsk.
