NHL club San Jose will not play in the home arena until the end of March
The San Jose Sharks National Hockey League (NHL) club will not be able to play in its arena until the end of the regular championship. On March 10, the Health Department of Santa Clara County, California, USA, made such a decision. It is noted that by the end of March all public events on the arena of Es-Hey Pi-Center, which is home to San Jose, will be cancelled. The reason for this was the threat of coronavirus spread. Thus, the Sharks will not play the ending of the regular 2019/20 championship under the audience. The team's five home games will take place either at empty stands or in a neutral arena.
