Serbian authorities threatened to impose curfew over coronavirus

The Government of Serbia threatened to impose a curfew on the country and restrict the full freedom of movement of citizens if they did not heed the recommendations of medical professionals. On March 16, Prime Minister Ana Brnabich told journalists. The indignation of Brnabić caused the fact that despite the introduction of a state of emergency in the country, in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, there were car congestion, people went on their own business, despite all recommendations and prohibitions. The Prime Minister of Serbia explained that the Government would have to impose a ban on the street for people over 65 years of age and recalled. In a similar way, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country reminded, citizens in Italy behaved, which eventually led to more than two thousand deaths from coronavirus. Brnabic asked citizens to take the coronavirus situation more responsibly, otherwise the government would have to impose a curfew and switch to martial law. Earlier, the news agency reported on the introduction of a PE regime in Serbia in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. People over 65 are not advised to go outside.
