In Japan, interrupted the launch of a private MOMO rocket
The Japanese company Interstellar Technologies interrupted the launch of the MOMO light launch vehicle on July 26. This was reported by the press service of the company. Interstellar Technologies notes that the launch was interrupted by the automatic control system due to temperature deviation. Details of the failed launch and the date of the new attempt will be announced later. Interstellar Technologies has developed a light MOMO launch vehicle for the comparative cheap launch of small satellites into Earth orbit. To date, three test launches have been carried out, the first of which took place in 2017. Only the third launch, carried out in May 2019, was recognized as successful. As previously reported by the news agency, on June 14, Interstellar Technologies launched the fourth rocket of the MOMO series. A minute after launch, the rocket engines unexpectedly shut down, after which it fell into the sea.
