Nine coronavirus carriers identified in Georgia per day


In Georgia, nine cases of coronavirus infection were detected during the last day. A message about this on August 6 was posted on the Stopcov.ge website. According to the latest data, as of today, 1206 people have been recorded in the country who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. 13 patients with COVID-19 were discharged during the day from medical institutions. Now they are 987 or 82% of the total number of detected infections. During the pandemic, 17 patients died of COVID-19 in Georgia. 7071 people are in quarantine, 294 in hospital. It is worth noting that in Georgia it was decided to conduct a large-scale study on how many people in the country contracted coronavirus. The extent of its distribution will be determined based on the study of the blood serum of the subjects.
